Patrón de Navegación Básica
The Patrón de Navegación Básica (PNB) entitles you to skipper recreational craft of up to 8 metres in length and to sail up to 5 miles from the coast, by day or by night. It is the next step after the Licencia de Navegación and requires passing a theoretical exam and completing the required practical hours at an approved school.
What the PNB allows
- Vessels up to 8 m in length
- Up to 5 miles from the coast
- Day and night navigation
- Jet skis
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Pass the theoretical exam
- Complete the required practical training
- Hold a valid medical certificate
